Top breakfast places in 6 amazing cities

Everybody knows that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Also if you're a bread lover like me, and coffee, and chocolate, and cheese and ham... You will want to read this!

The way I like to discover a city is by walking as much as I can, and I don't like having breakfast in a random place, I heavily rely on foursquare to find the right place. And since I like to explore streets and walk in non-busy areas, this usually leads me to discover small cozy places that outperform fancy restaurants.

Highly recommended because of these 3 main ingredients:

  1. You get the real feel of the city.
  2. You get to eat delicious bread and fuel properly for the day.
  3. You get to hang out in a cute / artsy / nice looking bakery / breakfast place.

Here are my favorite breakfast places around the world in alphabetical order:

Amsterdam

Melly's Cookie Bar (website) - I had the Basil + Tomato + Cheese croissant! Love it!

 Barcelona

El Fornet D'en Rossend (Carrer de Provença, 253, 08008 Barcelona) - Oh what didn't I try in this place! Cheese & Ham, you won't go wrong :)

It was so good, that we came here the second day as well.
Every day they have a new selection of sandwiches #Barcelona #Spain

Berlin

Zeit für Brot Bäckerei (website) - try the one in the picture! And go again and try everything else! You can also watch them make the dough!

I've been to Berlin twice, the second time I brought my friends, and I recommend it to every person who visits Berlin!

Dublin

Il Valentino Bakery (website) - I go to Dublin for work a lot, and I always make sure I make one stop there. Cheese and Ham, Chocolate Croissant are my favorites. In their defense, I love those two so much I never tried anything else. I have a feeling they're all so good though!

New York City

Maman NYC (website) - Ok, I know there is a theme here of me ordering chocolate croissant. This was on a February day, with snow outside, thus why the window looks like this. Small cozy place, loved it!

Paris

No it's not a popular over-visited Champs-Elysées restaurant, it's just an amazing cute café called "Le Pain de la Bourse" and it's located on 33 rue Vivienne that has a variety of morning breakfast sandwiches and eggs variety, but most importantly the choices of spreads  (dark chocolate, milk chocolate, white chocolate, hazelnut as well as Jams that are so good). My favorite was Framboise, and I bought it and brought it back home.

All these photos are taken by yours truly, and not sure if I should mention this or not, but all these are my own choices, no one told me to write this post :)
