Time to zip it

The problem about me and blogging is not an emotional issue here. It can be easily rationally explained. Here's why:

News type of posts, obsolete now
For new readers, you probably don't remember the days when I used to blog about recent events and political news, back there were no twitter or facebook in the density used now and people didn't share and spread a word. So, I was one of the few bloggers who acted as the middle man for what's happening in the country.

Creating discussions? Better on social networks
Back then, people didn't have that much of a platform to discuss what's happening (forums were very exclusive and not as popular as current social networks). Therefore, my aim was to say my opinion and created an area where people can jump in and discuss.

You are interested in what you are interested
Humans rights and what not were (still are) always on my mind, and even if an issue wasn't local, I would still shed light on it. Helped raise awareness about several issues etc... But now? Well now they have pages, and again, everything is widespread on the internet, you can just share it with a click and add a quick opinion to it as well.

Information & lame opinions overdose
You know with all the information out there now, it's quite intense having to read everyone's opinion, with all due respect to everyone, you can say what you want about "one" idea in one paragraph, and to be honest, most people's writings are boring the hell out of me recently, they either repeat themselves or each other.

Brain is not dead, just quiet
Finally, I still have an opinion about things and I am pretty vocal about some issues, yet for me, I find it easier to just share it on my own timeline in Facebook, and create a meaningful discussion with my friends and people I know.

And...
For my silent readers who check up on my well being here, unfortunately, this blog should be put to sleep as I have been gradually decreasing the frequency of blogging and thus well the curves came to a horizontal line.

Blog might be resurrected again, who knows, it's not like it's the first time such miracle happen. If you really want to read my posts, I have about 700 old ones, you're welcome to browse. I used to say some insightful stuff.

One last thought, if you don't have anything new to say, be silent.
