Human Rights Watch Accuses Israel of War Crimes

To all of those who have time and want to read something very interesting about Israel war crimes against Lebanon and "serious violations of international humanitarian law (the laws of war) by Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in Lebanon between July 12 and July 27, 2006, as well as the July 30 attack in Qana," just follow this link, or at least take a look at the summary. Note that the summary is also available in Arabic.

According to a 50 pages report titled "Fatal Strikes, Israel's Indiscriminate Attacks against Civilians in Lebanon", without being able to distinguish between Hezbollah fighters and the civilians in the military campaign in Lebanon, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have committed war crimes. The report listed more than twenty detailed cases of Israel Attacks against Lebanese civilians.

"By consistently failing to distinguish between combatants and civilians, Israel has violated one of the most fundamental tenets of the laws of war: the duty to carry out attacks on only military targets,"
The report released by Human Rights Watch (HRW), called on the United Nations Secretary General Kofi Anan to establish a commission to investigate Israeli war crimes and also Hezbollah's rocket attacks against Israel.

  1. Very interesting information! I guess Israel is starting to look bad. Well for us a long time ago, but now the world will see.
